Ho Yin Starsky Wong was born in Hong Kong and is currently a Research Staff Member at IBM T.J Watson Research Center.

Before working in New York, Starsky got his Ph.D. in the University of California, Los Angeles (|UCLA), in the |Computer Science Department, under the supervision of |Professor Songwu Lu. Before coming to USA, Starsky got a Master degree in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (|CUHK), under the supervision of |Professor John C.S. Lui. Before that, Starsky got a Bachelor degree in the same institute, under the guidance of |Professor Michael R. Lyu.

In case Starsky has free time, he enjoys hiking, cooking, watching movies, tasting wine and playing PC games.

Starsky's research interests include:

• Wireless and Mobile system
• Wireless and Internet security
• Large-scale network measurement and network analysis
